About the Brewery ...
This small family brewery was established in 1870 and was originally called 'De Hoop' (Dutch for Hope) "in the hope that everything would go well". An anchor, the symbol of hope, is still incorporated in the brewery's emblem today. Things certainly seem to have gone well as the brewery continues to florish; producing a wonderful array of beers.

About the Beer ...

Parel Witte is light, fruity and sweet. With its creamy colour and large foamy white head, it has an intense aroma with hints of vanilla and banana, and a luscious honeyed flavour. A great accompaniment to pâté or smoked salmon, although the sweetness in this beer would also make it a great partner for desserts.
