About the Brewery...
The Hook Norton Brewery was started over 150 years ago by farmer and maltster John Harris. Today it is run by his great great grandson James Clarke.
Hook Norton Brewery is a great example of the 19th Century approach to brewing and you won’t find a finer example of a Victorian tower brewery anywhere. It's also the only brewery still partly powered by steam.
About the Beer...
The traditional methods employed at the brewery make traditional beers. Haymaker is a premium
pale ale at 5.0% ABV, with a distinctive fruity taste. The beer is light in colour, and has a refreshing
clean flavour, which belies its strength. A nice touch of honey character in the lingering aftertaste
will leave you wanting more.
