About the Brewery...
As with so many of these enterprises, the Hop Back Brewery started its life in the cellar of a pub, The Wyndham Arms on the outskirts of Salisbury. Here - back in 1986 - John Gilbert started brewing quality ales for sale in the bar above. Within two years, beer aficionados far and wide were raving about the brews, another pub was bought, and Hop Back confidently began its journey towards the dizzy heights of brewing superstardom!
About the Beer...
A rich, dark stout with a strong roasted malt flavour and a long, smooth aftertaste. Hop Back's Entire Stout brings together Optic Pale malt, Chocolate malt and Wheat Crystal malt with Roasted Barley and Challenger and Goldings hops to create a supersonic cornucopia of intense espresso, hop, malt and bitter chocolate characters and an alluringly fruity finish.
PLEASE NOTE: As this beer ferments in the bottle sediment will exist. As a guide store upright and pour extremely carefully.
