Joseph Holt has been a family brewery since the middle of the 19th Century and today is run by the great grandson of the founder. It's a bastion of brewing in the North West, preserving its independence and relying on a reputation for quality, highly drinkable beers.

About the beer ...

A traditional recipe brewed with rich crystal and black malts that give a very distinctive burnt and roasted flavour. Sixex is a very strong premium ale and is the oldest product in the Joseph Holt premium bottled ale range.
